Role Summary:
Help manage the commercial sales of soy based products and drive sales in the identified geographical areas and provide technical sales leadership and support mainly within Europe.

• Create and maintain commercial relations with respect to sourcing and marketing products to achieve commercial business plan.
• Build and maintain key customer accounts in Europe
• Provide technical and commercial input to future expansion and/or acquisition plans
• Support commercially the product development plan

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for sales to key accounts and distributors
• Provide technical product sales leadership and establish product channels to market.
• Understand the value drivers of the business and identify in conjunction with the commercial director, opportunities to grow revenue and market share.
• Work closely with other commercial and technical colleagues to manage key customers (existing and new), thereby improving turnover and profitability.
• Communicate with all major stakeholders (internal and external) to achieve business objectives.
• Collate and analyse business data pertaining to all commercial activities.

Person Profile Knowledge Experience:

• Proactive Self-Starter, capable of planning and delivery with a hands-on approach, with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others to provide a high quality service.
• Demonstrated experience of building senior relationships in a typical commercial situation.
• Collaborative.
• Depth in technical product knowledge and commercially savvy
• Fluent English speaker (additional languages preferably, German Desirable)
• Educated to degree level.
• Strong leadership skills and experience.
• Credible and confident communicator (written and verbal) at all levels.
• Gravitas, with the ability to build strong external relationships to enhance and strengthen the company’s profile.
• Demonstrated evidence of taking yeast/soy products to market, supported by nutrition expertise
• Expert negotiating and influencing skills.
• Innovative with entrepreneurial flair.
• Passionate about achieving high levels of excellence.
• Highly energised and motivated with a high level of commitment.
• Commercially astute and customer focused.
• Numerate with strong analytical and problem solving ability.
